MARY MARGARET FLEMING   CHAIRWOMAN
A Rotarian since 1988, Charter Member and Past President Rotary Club of Monterey Peninsula Sunset (1991-92) and is currently a Charter member of the Rotary Club of Monterey International. She served as Governor of District 5230 in 1996-97, is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor and maintains perfect attendance. Mary Margaret serves World Chair of Rotary International Public Image Resource Group, Communications Committee, World Billboard Project; and since 1997 Fleming initiated 33 separate Matching Grants with a cumulative total of $964,529.00, benefitting Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Thailand and Turkey.
John Edward Watson-Williams Dr. JOHN EDWARD WATSON-WILLIAMS   MEDICAL ADVISOR
Educated at Cambridge University, Dr. John Edward Watson-Williams was professor of medicine and hematology on three continents: at Ibadan University, Nigeria; Manchester University, England; Down-State University, New York and U.C. Davis University in California. In 1987 He returned to Africa and developed the Uganda National Blood Transfusion Service, then led the creation of a similar service for the Government of Zambia and the Republic of Georgia, USSR. Dr. Watson-Williams brings his expertise to The Safe Blood Africa Project as Hematology Advisor.
